Backcountry & Beyond Pay Rewards Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

  • These terms and conditions are specific to your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account offered by Backcountry & Beyond in partnership with Tandym.
  • If you have additional Tandym-powered accounts at other merchants, the terms and conditions for this program do not apply to those accounts.
  • These terms and conditions for this program were last revised on Jun 23, 2023.
  • If you have questions specific to the rates and terms of your Tandym credit account, please refer to your Application Disclosure and Customer Agreement.
  • points are redeemable at checkout when paying with Backcountry & Beyond Pay and may also be referred to simply as “rewards”.

2. How do I earn rewards?

  • All purchases (less returns and other credits) to which the rewards benefit applies will result in you receiving points equal to 5% of such purchases on your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account, except as provided below.
  • We may, from time to time at our discretion, supplement the rewards benefit by offering bonus rewards for certain purchases. In such cases, the total rewards offered for such purchases will be noted on the relevant product page or during checkout, and this section will apply to the rewards benefit inclusive of any bonus rewards.
  • We reserve the right to remove any person from the rewards benefit in the event of any fraud or abuse in connection with the benefit. We reserve the right to discontinue or alter the terms of the rewards benefit at any time.
  • Certain products may be excluded from the rewards benefit. Those products include, but not limited to:

    1. Gift cards
    2. Digital currency or cryptocurrency

3. How do I redeem rewards?

  • You may redeem your points for eligible purchases at Backcountry & Beyond at a value of $0.01 per points. Your rewards can only be used online at Backcountry & Beyond and are not transferable.
    You may redeem your points for eligible purchases at Backcountry & Beyond Pay at a value of 1:1. Your rewards can only be used online at Backcountry & Beyond Pay and are not transferable.
  • Your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account must be open and in good standing to redeem rewards points.
  • If your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account is closed, you will forfeit any unredeemed rewards points.
  • Please allow up to two billing cycles for your earned rewards points to be credited to your account. In most cases, rewards points will be credited to your account within 24-48 hours.
  • If any of the products related to your original order are returned, subject to the returns and refunds policies of Backcountry & Beyond, you will receive any refund due to you by first refunding the amount charged to your card and, if any refund is still due, then by the return of rewards.
  • If a refund of your rewards cannot be processed by Tandym for reasons including, but not limited to, closure of your account, then Backcountry & Beyond will issue a gift card to you for an amount equal to the value of the rewards used towards your returned purchase. If you return a purchase made with rewards, allow up to 5 days for the value of the rewards redeemed to be credited back to your account.

4. Do my rewards expire?

  • The points associated with your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account will never expire.
    The points associated with your Backcountry & Beyond Pay account will expire .
  • Please note, the points expiration policy for this program may differ from that of other merchant programs powered by Tandym.
