How do I sign up?
You can sign up by either selecting Credit or Debit.
Apply for a credit account at the merchant site or in the cart during the payment step of checkout. It takes seconds without leaving our website and requires your name, phone, birthdate, social security number, address, email, and annual income. We securely handle the instant review process and email you with details for managing your account once approved. During the credit application, there will be no hard credit pull.
Apply for a debit account at the merchant site or in the cart during the payment step of checkout. In addition to name, email, and birthdate, you're required to digitally connect your bank account via our secure partner, Plaid. Plaid is a trusted partner for apps like Venmo and Cash App as well as major banks. This usually takes less than a few minutes to complete and if successful you can use immediately.
Will signup impact my credit score?
During the application process, there is no hard credit pull* that is reported to the bureaus. If you are approved and open an account, a tradeline will be established.
Can I sign up with a land line phone number?
A mobile phone number that can receive SMS texts is required to sign up. At this time, you can not sign up with a land line phone.
Are there any interest charges or fees?
Debit accounts are 100% interest and fee-free.
Credit accounts operate similarly to traditional credit cards – you will incur no fees or interest if you pay your statement balance in full prior to your due date. Payments of less than your statement balance will accrue interest on the remaining balance, and payments paid after your due date will result in a $10 late fee.

With credit, what are my monthly payments?
Similar to a credit card, you must at least make the minimum payment by each monthly due date in order to stay current. If your balance is less than $29, your minimum payment will be equal to your balance. Otherwise, your minimum payment will be the greater of $29 or 3% of your balance plus new interest and late payment fees. We will also add any past due amount to your minimum payment.
With debit, how do I make payments?
Similar to keeping your bank account on file with a utility company, we require you to connect your bank account online which we securely charge at the time of each transaction you make. There’s no need to make any additional payments as it’s all automatic at the time of checkout, and payments from your bank to the merchant, via Tandym, are completed within 1-3 days.
How can I pay my Tandym Credit account balance?
- The fastest and easiest way to submit a payment is through your Tandym Account Dashboard where you can securely connect a bank account to make an ACH payment. Your payment must be made in U.S. dollars from a U.S. depository account in a form acceptable to us.

How do I view and manage my account?
Log in to your account at customers.bytandym.com to manage and view your account details and rewards.
How do I redeem my rewards?
All of your available rewards are automatically redeemed when you check out with Tandym on your next online purchase. Select Tandym at the payment step and authenticate with your phone number and a secure text message to confirm your identity. Your rewards will be automatically applied.
Can I earn new rewards when I’m redeeming existing ones?
Yes! You can both earn and redeem rewards in the same transaction - in fact this is common. Your rewards will be deducted from your total transaction amount and any remaining amount to be paid will earn you rewards.
What happens to my rewards if I return my purchase?
If you successfully return your purchase for a refund, the rewards that you earned for that purchase will be deducted from your account. Your rewards balance will only ever be a minimum of zero and cannot be negative.
What is the maximum order amount allowed for purchases?
Is Tandym available outside the US?
No, at this time, Tandym is only available to US residents with a valid US billing address.
